Course  Description: This course is designed to offer the students a more in-depth study of the Culinary Arts.  Each student is presented with the information needed to maximize completion of the National and State Curriculum standards in the area of Family and Consumer Science.

The planned modules that each student studies pertains to their particular interest in the vast area of the Culinary Arts.  All food preparation will have emphasis on proper food handling, healthy choices, and marketing. 

Course  Description Culinary Skills and Procedures give students the opportunity to learn basic cooking techniques,  proper food handling skills, nutritional values of foods and marketing as it relates to the wide world of Culinary Arts.  Appetizers Entrees and Desserts will be prepared in labs. Weekly Labs, paper quizzes, home work worksheet packets combined with projects, midterms and finals are calculated for the student's final grade.  Good attendance is mandatory.
